When the university announces its first annual RC “Doppler Racing Cup,” Sheldon begrudgingly asks Howard for help with beating Kripke. When Howard is reluctant, Bernadette tries to convince Howard to help Sheldon.

Meanwhile, Raj’s loneliness proves problematic when Leonard and Penny can’t get time for themselves. After Leonard fails many attempts to create distance, Penny gives him an ultimatum:  to spend his nightcap with Penny or Raj.

Amy offers to run Stuart’s comic book store when his head cold leaves him in need of help. Amy soon realizes that working in retail is more problematic than she anticipated.
